i decided to reinstall windows and start using it a little more, because if i want to work at geek squad some day, ill have to be mostly knowledgable in windows, not linux. dont get me wrong, im still primarily using linux. anyway, after i reinstalled windows, when i turn on my computer, it automatically boots to windows (goes to the windows boot loader and automatically boots from there), instead of going to my GRUB boot loader, and giving me a choice to boot from windows, linux, ect... how do i get it to start booting to GRUB again?

Try:

HERE (http://www.gnu.org/software/grub/)

You might be able to download something that can help?

the place where you went wrong is when you reinstall windows it means it formats your hard drive!!!

one, you dont format a hard drive, you format a partition. two, i have 2 hard drives. three, you dont even need to format to reinstall windows

and vamp, im pretty sure those are all linux installers.

the link you gave me vamp is telling me pretty much to reinstall linux, since, the last OS you install is the boot loader your computer will use. that is my last resort, though i know there is a way i can just set it to boot to GRUB. and TeenDev, i think you gave me a wrong link, that has nothing to do with boot loaders. im simply trying to get my computer to go back to booting to GRUB, so i can go back to duel booting Ubuntu and Windows

Can't you type what you need into a Google search, because only you can me more specific as to what you need to do...

...Google may not give you the best answer straight away, but eventually you will get what you want :p
