My first one was obviously the Sega Dreamcast. I used a old version of DreamSnes (SNES emulator). :)

PSP was the first system for me. I bought my psp just to run homebrew. I remember it seemed like forever waiting for a 1.50 hack to come out. I also have 2 XBOXs that are modded and used for homebrew.

Dreamcast, but it was really an Apple IIC, with a game that a family friend who was in high school had written.

Similar story, a game a friend had coded in basic on his amiga. As far as proper console homebrew, Dreamcast all the way.

Directly after i discovered homebrew for the GBA, i bought a GP32.
GP32/GP2X are definately missing in this list. Espesially the GP2X, because it is the first device designed for homebrew.

I used console homebrew before a lot of people here then, cause I'm the only one who's said Playstation and Dreamcast homebrew wasn't available until around (or just after) April-ish of 2000 and Playstation homebrew to my knowledge was available from before 1999 when I was introduced to Yaroze titles (I used PC homebrew a few years before Playstation homebrew thou [early NES emu's in 1997] - but a PC isn't a console) :p
