I have a psp with the firmware 3.52, I tried to put the gPSP on there and I started it. the white psp screen pops up, then a balck screen pops up, then it says-The game could not be started. (80020148). Is there another way or other emulators that i can use without have to downgrade my firmware???

no you must downgrade your psp to enjoy homebrew but after you downgrade you can install a custom firmware that has all the capabilities of a sony firmware but no restrictions to what you play or do

wait till they make a downgrader for 3.71 or find a friend with a homebrew enabled PSP and make a jigkick battery
