...and an 80GB HDD. I also have an enclosure for internal HDDs for this situation. What can I do to run Emulators on it?

HDAdvance will only allow you to run PS2 backups.... It doesn't allow you to run homebrew.

If you have a slimline PS2 (Which I assume you do if you're using an external HDD and HDAdvance) then you need a modchip.

You can either grab one of the ones already on the market, or wait for the upcoming deal that just plugs into the MemCard slot. Noone knows too much about this MemCard Modchip, yet, so you might be waiting a while.

You may have heard about a MemCard exploit that allows you to hijack the PS2 and run homebrew, but that only works on the older 'fatty' PS2's.

I have the 'fatty'. I have the external setup for connecting the drive to my comp if needed.
Anyways, I'm getting a Memor32 and installing Memento on it, then I will use its HDD feature (when done) and flash drive booting. Thanks anyways :D
