I'm having some trouble with the Daedalus n64 emulator.

Psp = 2.60
Daedalus Version = R8

I can't use any of the other versions of Daedalus at all, R8 is the only one that seems to even boot up. Is there something I need to do in order to be able to use the latest Daedalus versions? And if so, are there any pretty 'noob friendly' guides for it?

The problem is with your psp firmware. You either need to have 1.5 or any of the many hacked or customized firmwares like 3.52 m33.

If you want to play daedalus (or any other homebrew/emulator) first downgrade to 1.5. For that, go here: http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=49355
Then you can upgrade to a hacked version of sony's fw 3.52. For that go here: http://forums.exophase.com/showthread.php?t=2876

You'll probably have questions, so ask.
