the second on about "gettimeofday" has to do with games like Harvest Moon i think. games that require itself to remember what happens certain times

Anyone tested what the save state adjustment is yet? I don't want to loose my save games :)

this is a good release.. FFIV is running almost perfect (60 fps) with 0 frameskip / transparency off.

Save states wont work anymore because of the new format, but SRAM saves still work (saves that you save through the actual game).

Why the change is save states? Are they compressed or something?

It's actually a pain having to figure out how to get all my saves across :( Guess I'll have to try the Sram for most and passcodes for the others.

Now why would you assume that, he says that sram saves are made in the game and they are. Except on real a cart it would be saved with the help of an internal battery. Though its a different process on how and emulator does it in the end you get same results.

I bought SNES on launch day as well. I even had Pilotwings and F-Zero for several days before the actual system was out. :)
