Power cable/usb charger

Does anyone know if the psp can be charged through usb?
Im away from home and have forgot my psp charger, I have a ps2 power cable which ive read will work if you have the other end of the cable that fits the psp. I also have a psp usb cable with me, is there a way to charge my psp through this?

hi mate read my post how to do everything on the psp, its all in there yes you can charge it via usb just download the file in the post! hope this helps

hi, thanks for the reply. dont want to be taking apart someone elses usb cable and i dont have a car charger either. Is there no other way?
