2.80 Downgrade HEN help

i bought a psp last year right before christmas and it came factory with IC1003 & 2.71
i upgraded to 2.80 just now so i could downgrade to 1.50, but im having troubles with HEN

when i try to run HEN_280
it goes to a black screen and then turns off

i havent read anything about this in the tutorials
they all say it will either freeze, or go to a red or blue screen

am i doing something wrong or should i upgrade to 3.50 and use that downgrader?

No, the 2.80 downgrader is good. Just keep trying. The tiff exploit, however, is very unstable and might take some tries until it works. I once downgraded a friend's PSP and it took almost half an hour always trying to run the downgrader and always freezing until it worked at last.

i thought maybe it was different than the regular freeze & retry, since it was turning black beforehand
