Hi guys, i'm having a bit of problems with most of the emulators, i have followed instructions carefully and put them in the GAME150 folder etc.etc., also putting a UMD in the drive and changing the settings in the recovery menu but with ALL of the emulators (except masterboy), i get a 80020148 error when i try to boot them up...

any ideas anyone? ive also tried changing the kernal to 1.5 in the recovery menu and putting all the emu's in the GAME folder,

seems a bit weird how only 1 emu will work, also, all my ps1 games work perfectly, even without a UMD...

just fyi im on 3.71 m33-2

edit: another fyi i already have that permanent kxploit patch (i think)

I don't think you should worry about asking for help on this site, especially with 3.71 m33. As new as it is, there's bound to be someone who has the same problem as you, and now they can check this post and help themself.

How did you do it? I put the update folder (along with 150.pbp) in my game folder, then used it. I was then told the script cannot decompress the PRX or something...

i went to http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1291 and placed the whole update folder inside of PSP/GAME/ -> so you have PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT and pspdecrypt etc....

make sure the kernal is set to 3.xx from the recovery menu (hold R trigger whilst turning the psp on)

and then place a 1.50 official firmware file in the ROOT of your card (renamed as 150.pbp),

then you just run from the game menu on the psp, worked fine for me

edit: btw you need 3.71 m33 for the update to work i think :)

Do not place the 150.pbp in update folder put it on root of your memory stick

I have 3.71m33-2, so do I even need this update?

I'm having the same problem even after I used the 1.50 kernel update (after installing 3.71 M33).

I get errors or the emulator crashes the PSP. Seems my PS1 games work fine, but ISO discussion is off limits here.

i think yes if you want to run programs that need 1.5 kernal, although i havent a clue why changing the kernal in the recovery menu to 1.5 didn't work for me

Solved.
using alcohol 120%(free)
burning the game again(in psx format)
use cdrwin(free)("track" should show up as cdrom-XA)
used psx2psp(free)
had fun! :)
