Hey guys,

I am having trouble deciding what to install as my alternate Operating System.

What do you guys suggest?

My whole SOLE purpose of installing an alternate operating system will be to run emulators! I have a 300GB ps3 with a usb HD of 250 and i'm running the 60GB ps3. What is the most user friendly and what will satisfy my nes, snes, sega, atari, gameboy needs the most?

Thanks everyone!

THIS is why I go to PS3updates.com now

People are so much cooler and helpful.

This site used to be awesome with plenty of great people in the community. F this site.

From what I understand, your choices are limited to a few choice flavors of Linux. Ubuntu is the one that springs immediately to mind.

Emulation is a bit rough from what I understand, since the hardware access from the OtherOS is heavily limited. I'm sure you could try a Linux based emulator once you get it up and running, but you may be in for a bit of a disappointment.

No need to be impatient, y'know. I can see you're a pretty angry person in general, but flying off the handle like that isn't the best way to get results.

If you find a more helpful answer at another site, it'd be great if you'd share the info!
