wow, i dont know if it was this one or the one before it, but a got a nice little fps rate boost while playing ffiii, which was pretty slow before, and is faring better now, a bit better performance in Chrono Trigger as well, havent tried out any other games yet, but great job, keep up the good work!

with Ruka giving some help we may start to see some use of ASM which will of course speed things up nicely

I dont really think ASM cpu code is the way to go right know. I think they should look into the VBA port that started to use the video core some for speed boasting. It would be much easier to utilize the full psp instead of pushing one part of it to the limit. Eventually you'll only need to have a minor overclock once everythings being used instead of the full cpu max speed. In long terms this means you'll get more hrs enjoying your games :P

I think ASM can help quite a lot. Simulating hardware usually results in the same blocks of code getting repeated very frequently. Small optimizations in those snippets can improve things significantly. Especially if gcc isn't doing PSP CPU optimizations particularly well.

I think I'll see a decent speed update with this XD I haven't updated since y17 :P

Nice as usual, can't wait to see future releases from here ;)
