The Montreal International Game Summit will play host to the Serious Games Canada Symposium this year.
The serious games event, being held for the first time, will address games that have practical applications in a variety of fields, and over twenty speakers, mostly from Canada, will be discussing topics on the genre.
Additionally a Serious Games of Canada group will be set up during the event to promote research and development into the area, and among the specialists attending will be John Nordlinger from Microsoft Research and Michael Gibson from Zapdramatic.
