I'm wondering if there is any way to compress PSX ISO files down so they don't take up so much room. 600-700MB each CD is a bit much. They can be compressed to ~200MB each, but will a PSP be able to play these? Sorry if this has been answered before (been reading up and haven't seen this).

Thanks. Is there any specific program that is the best to do this considering I have the original PSX CD's to backup. Thanks.

When i convert my psx games, i use IceTea to convert the iso to eboot with high compression, and i use clonecd to make an iso from a cd

On PSX games that use Audio Tracks for background music, you can use ISOProducer to only rip the data track. That slims some games down immensely (Tail of the Sun is about 23 MB, and Devil Dice ends up being about 90MB.)
