BookR 0.7.1 Unoffical Release

I've combined the two recent patches and made binaries for 1.50 and 3.71

binaries, patch, and source at:

New Changes:
- Rotating documents (not PDF or DJVU) happens at Menu Speed, so you can quickly rotate documents when speed is set to 10mhz
- compiled for 3.71, tested on a PSP-1001, should work with PSP-2000

From Paul Murray's patch (copied out of 1768012):
- Swap Circle and Cross use to match western conventions
- Record last file opened and automatically reopen when bookr starts
- Tidy up source references to button images to use constants to make
source reading easier
- Reload document if font face changed, no only if font size changed
- Option to scale line height from 50% to 150% of normal, to either
increase spacing for better readability, or squeeze more text onto the
screen
- Option to ignore CRs if less than a certain number occur together, useful
if the file has been line broken at a specific width
- Separate last viewed folder memory for books and fonts
- Two separate speed settings, one for menus and file loading, one for
reading books, so you can set it to 10Mhz for good batter life, but still
open files quickly
- Read title for palmdoc files

Does BookR have search support yet? I've been digging around and don't see it, so I hope it's just hidden. :)

One of the main things I like to use my PSP for (document wise, at least) is to have a FAQ on hand for playing console games, and a simple search function would be invaluable.

edit: it works GREAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!i'm so happy i won't have to skip 10 pages each time just to go to page 1,246 of my book! haha.. btw, i noticed the page loading became more responsive. does this version make use of the 64mb memory of the slim?

Extra memory wouldn't really speed up the load time, honestly. It might help if you were trying to open a larger document... But considering that my NIV Bible PDF only takes up 8MB, you'd be hard pressed to find a document that would take up more than 20MB.

unfortunately, i use bookr to view my medical ebooks which range from 11mb to 177mb!

I'm using BookR 0.7.1 [the orignal version] but I notice after trying to read a short text document[about 15 lines] made thru WordPad[.txt file] that the last line of the text didn't appear...
After working the original text in WordPad and keying at the end enter, space and dots [in order to insert another line] I could see thru bookR the last original line, but the new another last line[with only dots] didn't appear...
So I conclude that the last line of a text is never diplayed thru bookR...
It seems a bug to me...
Somobody found this issue too?
Any Hints?

JaySparrow, I ran across the same bug when coding The Good Bookr (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=78825), the last line would be cut off. I tried to fix it but ended up working around it the same way you did.

Part 2: How to transfer video to PlayStation Portable (PSP)
1. When the converting finished, this "Conversion Done" window will pop up. If you want to upload the output file to PSP right now, please choose the second option. The program will load the Cucusoft PSP Manager automaticlly. If you choose the first option, you can upload the file by lunching the Cucusoft PSP Manager Program.
2. Please make sure:
A) Your PSP/Memeory Stick is connected to your PC.
B) The PSP is power on.
C) The PSP is in USB mode.
3. After your PSP connected to pc, you will see the following image. Or you can run Cucusoft PSP Video Suite, and click the third button on the main window to go PSP Video Manager.

When I used ver 0.70 on pdf's that are predominantly pictures(i.e comics) I was able to see the pics, however, when moving to next page, the prog would crash - I had hoped that ver 0.71 would address that - however now it doesn't show any pictures at all! Major Bug?

Thanks for this version of Bookr.

I have a small request, though.

Can you implement a setting to turn off the Power LED when reading in Bookr? That little green light is DAMN bright and glares right in my eyes at night.

Bookr on my CFW4.01M33-2 psp slim doesnt seem to read pdf or prc wen I try to it switches off my psp. Any suggestions?
