Samuelv (http://libw11.free.fr/svsip/downloads/index.html) has released a new version of SvSIP, the VOIP application for the DS:

SvSIP is a software that you allow to use your Nintendo DS [1] like phone. For this, it uses SIP protocol. This protocol is an open standard for creating, modifying, and terminating sessions with one or more participants. It is widely used as a signaling protocol for Voice over IP.
This software is under development, it currently allows:
to call to number with figures,
to receive calls,
to question IVR by using DTMF tones.

This new version includes new software wifi-config that it allows to configure wifi connexion and to do tests of connexions. The connection parameters must be save. wifi file is saved in svsip directory. This file can be edit manually. The parameters are gave in file: wifi.example.txt. I thanks Benjamin (ongleben) to ask me this program to test DNS question and answer.
The wifi connexion is better, and I thanks particularly Stefan Engelen who he made several tests to identify the problem.
In this new version, SvSip rings when call is received. For the moment, it is not possible to define mp3,wav... file.
The keys are programed like this:
key function
A call or answer
B hang up
start+select reboot
A+B+X+Y power off
In configuration file, the following parameter has renamed:
—micro-vol is replaced by —mic-level
The followings parameters has added:
—speaker-level to define the speaker level [0-10]
—log-file to define the log file. If this parameter is undefined, the log will not be save.
—log-level to define the log level to save (0 none, 6 trace)

Wow!

The wifi-config.nds included in this release successfully discovered & connected to my D-link DI-524 router!

But... when it does the DNS Test, (querying www.google.com) it just says:

"Querying, please wait..."

"Last DNS Response :"
" NULL response"

Hi friends, I was if a VoIP soft-phone able to manage different VoIP numbers at the same time. I have few VoIP geographical numbers and I wish to manage all of them without using 3 different soft-phones as I do now. Which software offers me the possibility to this? Apparently the premium version of X-Lite is able to do it but the free version gives me some connection problem so I don't dare to buy the premium one. I really need your help. Thanks a lot.

Not to nag or anything, but hasn't this already been out for awhile? Why say it now?
