My computer Specs:
Intel Core2 Duo 2.1 GHZ
2.00 GB OF RAM
256 mb DDR graphic card

Should Bio shock lag, here it what it does in each setting:
HIGH: VERY LAGGY, UNPLAYABLE
MEDIUM: VERY LAGGY, UNPLAYABLE
LOW: PLAYABLE

My windows has been doing some funny stuff lately, just wanted to know if this is normal for a pc with these specs. thank you in advance
I am using Windows XP

No game should lag.

Make sure all your system resources are available for the game.
Close out stuff your not using like pointless virus scanners and definitely Limewire.

Is your computer overheating?

What is the specific name of your video card?

I have a 256 mb Ati radeon 9250 and there is no way I could play bioshock with it.

For bioshock your specs 'should' be higher than that.

You need like a 512mb+ gfx card.

Could be. What have you got loaded for cooling?

The stock cooling fan....! I shud get new fans.... i guess

Could you recommend something better that cools better than a normal fan does...

Liquid cooling the best best, but its impractical and pricey.

I have recently purchased a new case. It has two 250mm fans and a 120mm exaust fan. That keeps everything nice and cool.

If you can't get a new case, take the side off your computer and have a few powerful fans blowing in there (not recommended, could get dust problems etc.)

Hi, nomi.

I highly recommend that you make sure your graphics card drivers (http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us) are up-to-date. My computer kept overheating due to outdated drivers for a while. Installing new, hard to find, ones solved it. It should also increase performance.

Good luck!
