OK i have two 700 mb CD-R discs here, a Dreamcast which is compatable and i want to know how i go about running Scummvm, Snes and the genesis on my dreamcast please

Don't post any links to guides unless they state obviously what to do! I want to know simply what to do to get them running on my Dreamcast and even possible how to have it so you can re write your disks after they have been written thanks

Ok, if you want to have a very quick solution, go to http://www.dcevolution.net and get ScummVM Volume1. Well, maybe you try using BootDreams for making other selfbootable images.

Well, you can use Alcohol120% to burn .cdi files to CD-R, or create + burn images yourself with BootDreams.

Here's some info about GenesisPlusDC:
http://www.dreamcast-scene.com/index.php/Main/GenesisPlusDC

Here's a tutorial on how to burn it:

Erm, both BootDreams and Alcohol120% are capable of burning the DiscJuggler CDI format.

Alcohol120% even burns Nero's NRG format! Here's a link for the free trial version:

All the dreamcast selfboot images are multisession.
There is no way to get a selfbooteable image without multisession.

With SBI (Self boot inducer) you can create menus to put more than one homebrew aplication.

And, please, you should ask for things with respect.

Well clearly there not multisession as i cant re write onto my disc. I know that theres the self boot inducer ive been using that but what happens if i want add a few more roms onto the disk then ive wasted it right so there must be some sure way to re write it.

P.S I have been writing with respect. If you mean the last post with the caps he should have read my post because thats what i said and all he did with was answer with what burnable application to use not which use multisession.

Calm down, young Padawan: All Dreamcast CDs technically are multi-session CDs with at least a data/data or audio/data track.

Also, when burning a .cdi in Alcohol120%, there's an option to leave your session open. When using BootDreams' CDRecord GUI you can also choose Multi-Session instead of Data/Data or Audio/Data.

However, the easiest solution for more programs on 1 CD would be to just use a binary launcher like DCHakker or DemoMenu. You boot up one of them and then swap with your MS disc.

In context with emulators you simply can burn a standard Mode-1 data disc with your games on it to swap with your emulator boot disc (if the emulator supports disc swapping that is). That's what I did for testing, to see if a game runs with a certain version of an emulator.

Heres my CD it looks fine but it wont work.

Thanks DCemu for being a great scam unless if you can find out why it wont work which it should do as i followed the instructions correctly.

Just because something doesn't work exactly the way you imagined, doesn't mean it's bad per se.

Anyway, at first I would recommend to calm down and get a bunch of new CD-Rs.

Then you should try this if you insist on using multi-session discs:

ROFLMAO! WTF!?

Dude, that's it. Say "bye bye DCEmu" for the next few weeks.

You may come back once you've grown up and / or calmed down a bit ^ ^
