help i want to load 3.71 off memstik instead of flashing

finally got my datel tool and downgraded and on 3.52 m33-4 and have hell cat epmb and can load 1.50 off mem stick but don't want 1.50 i want sony's 3.71 fw to play newer games

so far i got the data.psar 3.71 but can't dump it can you just give me the encryted and decryted files or just tell me what to do

Why not just go to custom firmware? 3.71 M33 has 1.50 homebrew, and 3.71 homebrew, AND newer games.

well heard onced bricked on 3.71m33-2 kernel 1.50 addon 2 allways bricked

maybe is the 3.71 part, mine bricked on normal 3.71 M33 because I replaced the flash0 with a backup, but pandora (datel tool is the same) fixed it.

The only thing is that you'll be needing some other files on the memory stick the "despertar del cementerio" thing as this one can unbrick 3.71 FW psps

That's because of a bug in the code for accessing flash over USB in that firmware version. It can cause corruption of the NAND partitioning which can result in a permanent brick, which can only be restored with a full physical restore of the NAND.

There's a fix for this issue (it was posted in the news section) and as long as you take a backup of your NAND using Pandora, you can unbrick.

Most people who have bricked did something with the flash 0. Not mess around with it and you'll be fine.
