So, I'm on CFW 3.40OE (phat PSP). Do I use 2.2.5 1.5 Kernal?

This is getting too complicated for me.....

You can use any kernal on the phat PSP if you are on CFW 3.02 or higher.

He should really release a kernel app for 3.10 OE+. It's definitely possible.

I've tested all games for MVSPSP and found that only Samurai Shodown 5 isn't working, it gets a Bank Error, and the rom is correct (mame 0.120) I've checked it with romcenter.

Out of curiosity has anyone gotten Real Bout Fatal Fury 2:The Newcomers to convert?
Keeps tellin me the CRC32 isnt correct! :\

October 30th, 2007, 12:53
I did (one of my favoryte games). The problem with the CRC is that NJ updated his emu with the lates MAME0.0120 built and and RBFF2 got updated (m1 decripted) There are 2 ways to fix this: one (the hard way) is to find the 0.120 version of RBFF2 (just for the m1decipted the CRC is different in size the old was 256k and the new one is 512k) or you can download romcenter and find out the CRC signature from your old rom and change the ROMINFO in the emu itself and the cache convertor.

This emus are absolutely great!

But I have a question, and haven't found any answer to it: What's the difference between the ver.2.3.1 3.xx user and ver.2.3.1 for PSP slim ??!

I guess the major difference is that the Slim version utilizes 64MB of ram, whereas the 3.XX uses only 32MB. But is that it?

Thanks.

Thanks for the answer but I still can't fix the "Bank Error" in Samurai Shodown 5. I've created the cache, the rom loads but I get the error from the MVS. I can't read the "readme" because it's in japanese.

A question concerning getting cvs chaos working. I've seen what appears to be a legit video of it working, but keep getting cache 32 errors and it refuses to launch saying 269-m1_decrypted.bin isn't found.

Use the slim version and run from PSP/GAME
Assuming you can convert roms and obtain bios you should have no problems.

These emulators are legendary along with gPsP and PCE
PicoDrive, SNES, NES

So many reasons to not care about new games or new CFW.

I'm using 5.03 + HEN + 3.60MHU ( former CFE) in a PSP-3000 and i'm getting the same error. CPS1 works perfectly but CPS2 get me the error message. Using cps2psp_2.3.1_for_slim.
Any tip?
Thanks in advance
