My PSP wont let me use anything i downloaded

Ok so i got my PSP last christmas and just last week i found out you can install emulators so i can play different concoles. For a week ive been looking at tutorials downloading software and i finally got Gpgp
Kai on my psp and 3.71 m33-2 to update it.

so i go memory stick on my psp and go on 3.71 m33-2. the psp start thing comes on then the screen goes black with the power on then a notice comes on saying

The game could not be started
(80020148)

Now i relly want to go on GBA games on my PSP so what do i need to do to let these work????

you got a new PSP with the official sony firmware. you can't do crap with that. get the Pandora Battery (http://psp-news.dcemu.co.uk/pandora-battery-unbrick-amp-downgrade-any-psp-71985.html) and you will be able to use them, after going through the process to get the custom firmware.

Actually, before you do anything, check for me and see what firmware you have by going into the XMB(main menu) scrolling all the way to the left, then scroll down to system settings, press X, then scroll down to System Information and press X. Now what does it say for System Software? If you got your psp last Christmas, you might still be able to downgrade your psp without any complicated procedures if it is version 2.8 or lower. Post what version you have to see if we can help you any more.

If youre on 2.82, then you might skip pandora
only if:

1. You can get an unpatched UMD of GTA LCS (unpatched is the one that comes with update 2.00, any other wont do, this one is like the first that came out so no greatest hits)
Once with this one you can update to 3.03 and then use 3.03 downgrader

OR

2. You can get a Lumines 1 UMD (I think any one will work) and use 3.50 downgrader

If you don't have access to any of these UMDs you'll need a pandora's battery (maybe the easiest way to get one is ebay)

There games by sony called Lumines and Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories and GTA:LCS must be unpatched so lumines is your best bet try ebay.
