OKay ive got the prgram on the CD and today i bought a Keyboard and Mouse for it when installing Linux it worked at 1st

when it said Keyboot i typed "installtext" and eventually it came up with a blue screen asking for the keyboard details

Heres the problem i slected the English Language, but then it asks

"which model keyboard is attached to this computer"
I sleceted UK becuase im in the UK and then it came up with error i reloaded it to the same point and went on US and it happened again!

So im not sure what to do here

The Keyboard and Mouse work fine on the PS3 XMB menu, and i could even type in that keyboot "installtext"

Is there a special keyboad you have to get for Linux? on the box of the Keyboard it doesnt say linux on the box al it says is different Windows OS,IIs that the problem?

I hope ive explained the situation clear enough.

Help would be appreciated becuase i dont want this keyboard if it doesnt work.

your question is kinda confusing I use linux as my primary OS and have found that generally things do not specifically say that they are Linux compatible but most everything is. In order to help you I need to know exactly what your asking is the keyboard bluetooth? Wired? Wireless? are any of the keys working? Please give me some details and Ill do my best. Does the keyboard have a $ sign or a Euro sign?

Any USB keyboard will work no problem.

What distro are you trying to install?

Its a USB plug in one the company is called Genius ( if thats the answer to the distro question)

What happens is i have to install it on my PS3

It starts installing they it comes up with

Keyboot:

You have to put in installtext which the keyboard responds to

Then it has to recognize the keyboard so you type in english for teh language then what country the model is,im in the UK so i pic UK then it starts a percentages and comes up with error saying it cannot find the device.

Here a guide of what im tryign to do,i have standard tv
