pad right - move right
pad down -move down
L trigger - rotate

Right Piece:
Square - move left
Circle - move right

Good that you like it.

Someone request an option to choose the classic tetris and the dual I'll put that in the next version and level change.

Please post any bugs.

Also im cleaning the code to release it maybe in the next version.

Any suggestions are welcome.

About to try it, look like a great concept. Perhaps seperate left and right side level up could be an option. If your left side constantly cleared more lines than the right, it would level up sooner making them go at two different speeds? That would make things pretty crazy.

Edit: Wow, it may just be crazy enough as it is. Perhaps for the layout, have the playing area in the center, and have your upcoming tetris pieces on either side. It's kind of difficult to judge how many squares you have before the edge. Also, selection between backgrounds/turn background off?

That's a lot of suggestions, but it's because I love this game so much! Great work! You will keep me busy for hours!

hey i just got v1.65 and have a problem with the buttons to change the blocks around, its changing them around too fast and its hard to control the blocks unlike v1.61, because of this i went back to v1.61. Is it possible to change this in the next version? cheers

got a rather unusual request

IS there any chance of an Harry Potter edition of DUal Tetris in which you have say Draco Malfoy on one side and harry potter on another and stuff like wands and cauldrons etc come down instead of the usual.

the graphics would probaly have to be original to keep people off yer backs but with the current harry pottermania it would bring a lot of attention to the game, site and psp scene :)

rmedtx
August 16th, 2005, 20:13
I can make the Harry Potter backgrounds and pieces.
What do you think about it pspepe?

Edit:
I don't know if pspepe wants to use only artwork that's not copyrighted.

pspepe
August 20th, 2005, 01:04
I don't have much free time but if rmedtx do the graphics ill do it.

The other problem it's that i never read or watched harry potter (yeah i live under a rock :) ).

The copyright :( I can't even use the word "tris" in the name of the game but i I'm not obtaining money of this.

By the way if the next official tetris has 2 pieces falling down, you know who was the guy who did that first ;)

How do you install Dual Tetris on the PSP? I've downloaded the software to my PC, but I don't know how to install it to the PSP.

Also, is it possible to download Dual Tetris and install it directly to the PSP?

Thanks,

rmedtx, I am using 2.0.

rmedtx

I don't think you can play homebrewed games with version 2.0. You can play it with v 1.0 and 1.5 only as far as I know. Have you been able to play any of the homebrewed games using your PSP?

taurus
September 18th, 2005, 21:03
rmedtx, thanks for the response. I have not been able to play any homebrew on my PSP 2.0.

Do you know of homebrew apps/games that can play on 2.0?

Also, I've read that the team working on the downgrader has dissolved. Is this true? Is there another team working on it? Also, I've heard of an "UNLOADER" for the PSP that allows you to play apps/homebrew even if you got 2.0. Can you shed light on this?

Thanks!!!!

Taurus,
There are some people working on a downgrader from 2.00. Other people are trying to hack 2.00. For now my advice is that you don't do anything with your PSP. The downgraders are not perfect yet. Let the testing to the pros for now. Once they let us know that it is safe to downgrade. or to run homebrew in 2.00, then it will be the time to do it. Be patient. It's worth it.

I have an idea for Dual Tetris! Have a game mode where it's just like a widescreen tetris, with two blocks falling at once, and they can cross each other's path, etc. And as soon as one locks into place at the bottom, another block begins to fall!

This project/homebrew/emulator what ever it is, has been unstickied. It has been unstickied because it is either an old release or has not seen an update in ages and is simply taking up space being stickied on the first page.

If the creator has a new update please post the new update in our submit news section or if you have already been granted the power post it directly in the PSP news section. Hell you can even post it in here and we'll re-sticky it because it will be considered an on-going/updated project.

Thanks
