I'm going to Canada in a few weeks and have the opportunity to purchase a 80GB console.

Will this console play in th UK and can I puchase power adaptors in the UK?

Apparently the PS3 Games are reigion free but DVD are not, also im not sure about there PS1/PS2 games they may be reigion locked to,i imagine you can buy a power cable for it,its just like one that goes in a PC.

PS1/2 games are region-coded, PS3 games aren't. You can use it in the UK as long as you have the right power adaptor

I believe there is some incompatibility if you use standard definition tv.

I think you can get a converter to fix that too.

1. Need a power plug from a UK computer

2. Not sure which video inputs UK uses but u gota make sure its either component (waste of money buyng a PS3 if your using this) or HDMI/DVI
(univesal on most HDTVs)

3. DEMOS ARE REGION-LOCKED
(SOME)

You defiantly won't be able to play PS1/PS2 games on it
