3.71m33-3 is the latest firmware which is made by dark alex however in order to install 3.71 you must install 3.52m33-4 first co cant upgrade straight to 3.71m33-3 without using the pandora method and if your using a fat psp(original not slim) you can also install 1.50 kernel update so that all tour homebrew can still be used.
you can get all the updates from here www.dark-alex.org

and official firmwares you will have to google cos they are getting harder to find.

ok so you are saying first upgrade to 3.52m33-4 and then upgrade to 3.71m33-3. and what is tour homebrew? did you mean your homebrew? so how do I install 1.50 kernel update to work together with this 3.71m33-3 firmware? thanx alot for your help!

It wasnt tour home brew it was a typo i meant your homebrew.
Yes you must upgrade to 3.52m33-4 first then 3.71m33-3.
And 1.50 kernel add-on is a small update takes seconds to install.
Pandora is where you convert a psp battery(fat psp battery only) into a service mode battery and convert a memstick into a magic memstick so you can unbrick psp's or downgrade to 1.50 without the risks there used to be, the latest pandora is despetar cementario v3 it alows you to go from anyfirmware (3.72 & 3.73 not to sure but all below that) straight to 3.71m33-2 which means you can install cfw on the new slims.
