Right ive heard alot about overclocking on PC's and have heard about overclocking the DC up to 240Mhz, ive looked at various tutorials and found http://devcast.dcemulation.com/mods/overclock/overclock.php to be most helpful, but i still dont really understand. So could someone answer a few Q's?

1) What do i need? im pretty sure its a 40Mhz crystal like the ones you get in remote controlled cars. Where could i buy one, do maplins sell them?

2) In the tutorial it says

Once your pin is raised, run your new clock to the pin and solder, making sure that it is firmly in place.
What does it mean? do i cut the pin and solder a crystal in between?

3) I have a 40Mhz crystal from a toy car, like the one shown half way down this page http://www.echna.ne.jp/%7Ekim/Kim4/Link5.html will it do?

Thanks for any help, im really confused but have heard that this program helps the slowdown in DreamSNES so really wanna try it.
Thanks again :)
