the converting method? it isnt a method, its the way u gotta do it, although u can use many different conversion tools, even if most are around the same. the psp can only play .mp4 videos as of this moment, and the time it takes to convert to mpeg-4 depends on your comp
its really annoying to get the vids on your memory stick, but if it wasnt .mp4(or a similar type) it would be too big to fit on a memory stick anyways

Seamonkey wrote a pretty decent guide. It's the method I use for taking my DVD collection on the go.

No matter what way you do it, it will take some time to do. Even longer if you are attempting to keep the aspect ratio for a widescreen movie. I really need to write a totorial for this one also but the quickest method I have figured out is to use SmartRipper and rip your DVD so it is only one file. Then use your favorite mp4 converter to convert the VOB...I use PSP Video9 (1.33) at the moment.
