Could Someone Please Help Me With My PSP Please (Homebrew)?

Coulld somebody please give me step-by-step instructions on how to install custom firmare so I can play psx games on my PSP?

And on how to convert files using Popstation or a file like Popstation?

If at all possible really dumb down the instructioins, because I am not all thaat good with PSP's, but I am knowledgable about compuers.
