i have read ^_^, however the last greats games 2D are get out on DREAMCAST,
Now all this great beat em up are on ps2, =|, playmore have destruct the kof series, the kof 2003 is shit pure at 100%, and the new kof on atomiswave don't tell nothing.

The only games wich sorry don't see in DC are SAMURAI SPIRIT V SPECIAL, and SNK VS CAPCOM, ah and NEO GEO BATTLE COLISEUM =).

I have a ps2 but i don't buy never these games, i use always my dear DREAMCAST and for me is the more best console of last years.

Mslug 3 never came out on DC, and is superior to anythin 2D on the DC, which is why u need an xbox, put away that ps2 crazy foo!

Space Channel 5 Part 2 for me. Garou MOTW is better than CvS2, it's probably the best 2D fighter at all.

Better than IK+? That was ace.

Unfortunately I've not played either of these titles so I'm voting based on the the first version of both games.

I'd go for Cvs2. I do like Space Channel 5 - it's a really classy game but essentially it's just Simon with bells on. Luckily those bells are damn fine but I really loved CvS (until I moved to VGA and found it didn't work which was stupid as Marvel Vs Capcom 2 and SF Alpha 3 are both VGA compatible and were released earlier-pah!)

The original Capcom Vs SNK is vga compatible but it is a trick... it requires the you to be in standard mode as you power on, after the VMU beeps flick the adaptor into VGA mode.

I've tried the VGA Box trick with my PAL CvS but it didn't work. Before the game loads it gives you the 50/60 Htz option screen. From this point on it won't work.

How did you get past this point Marc? Any suggestions?

I will check it later tonight... I seem to recall that all Capcom's games (except JoJo's Bizarre adventure) work through VGA

cvs 2 runs flawlessly through vga

but the game drives me insane. it looks awesome, handle quite well, but I keep forgetting what game I'm playing. I play kof 98, 99, 00, 01, and 02 like everyday so going from that to this really throws off my game cause I'll start going all out neogeo style on my arcade stick which means hitting the wrong buttons everytime =/

I also find the game to be a bit too fast. my fav game is kof 00

Did you have any luck checking it on VGA Marc?

I'm really wanting to play this again and really hope I can get it to work on VGA.

I had chance to test it last night and it did load past the 50/60 Htz screen as I could hear it through the speakers that are plugged into my VGA Box. The monitor was having none of it though showing an 'out of frequency' error box on the screen.
