Hi, im new here and have just decided to start playing my DC again. I want to play roms on it but i'm off to a bad start; i cant find any UK based online stores that still sell DC mod chips to play backups, does anyone know of any? or any site that will ship to UK?

Thanks really appreciate any help :)

ok lets get a few things straight:

1: you do not need a mod chip to get homebrew or emus running on the dc! the only use for a mod chip is for playing imports, but even then its not really worth it cause you get get a boot disk for that

2: don't talk about "backups" as that is illegal

ok
;)

oh, okay.

so if i write the emus and roms to a CD on my PC they will play in my DC? without anything needed?

no wonder i couldn't find it then ::)

yeah sorry i dont really want it for 'backups' i just thought i needed for emulators and stuff.

thanks

you have too burn it the write way, but yeah if you do it right that all you have to do

do you have nero burn or disk juggler

Be sure to check out the tutorials on DCHelp if you have trouble figuring things out.

And you do need special DC versions of the emu's, but they're easy to find on well, here.
