I am planning on buying a new PSP (White star wars pack). Is this the psp slim and if so can it run emulators and ps1 games. I understand how to create pandora battery but in the read me it says you have to have a custom fw. How do i get the CFW on the psp slim before making pandora battery:confused:. Any links to appropriate software or guides would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

that psp will be fine,I have one :)
What that means is that you need an already homebrew compatible psp to make the battery. Not sure if you can use the slim battery without a hardware mod,I personally have a fat battery I've been using for months.

every thing is in the readme

Basically you need to find a somebody with a homebrew psp.OR:

Have fun with that though,I pandora'd somebody's slim who set their battery on fire doing this...

To have the best compatibility with the vast majority of existing PSP homebrew then a fat is better (the firmware 1.5 kernel only runs on the fat).

In the future more homebrew may take advantage of the extra RAM (and not run/perform worse on the fat) and the older aps may be converted to the 3.XX(+) kernel(s) so perhaps in the long term (homebrew wise) the slim may be better.

It really depends on which of those appeals to you more.

PS1 games will run fine on either equally well.
