Does anyone know if the online play is any good????

That's the version you want though. The one you linked to is much older and nowhere near as polished.

Jurajstyk's PSP Quake v1 and now v1.1 support hardware rendering (looks so much nicer), run full speed at 222mhz etc. It's a truly fantastic port, I've played the game all the way through with it.

http://psp-news.dcemu.co.uk/psp-quake-hw_um-1-0-adhoc-81996.html - That is a modified version of jurajstyk's port that supports ad-hoc multiplayer. The standard version (my fist link) supports infrastructure.

I dont know why the front page link for PSP Quake points to that modified ad-hoc version and not the official 1.1 release. I use the HW_KM version myself. I would reccomend using either HW_KM or HW_UM.
