Well, currently my PSP is version 3.80 M33-4. I've been experiencing this problem around the time I first upgraded to 3.71 M33 (or 3.52 M33-4 possibly.) Whenever I start a homebrew, it plays perfectly fine, but whenever I turn it off, and then later turn it on, it shuts down immediately in less than a second. And when I turn it on, it restarts completely. At first I thought it was the battery, but that's not the case. I'm not sure if my IDStorage is corrupted, since my umd games and (legal) isos play, and don't experience this problem. And if I turn it off and then back on immediately, it doesn't shutdown. Anyone know what's the problem?

Also, while I was on 3.71 M33-3, I changed the kernel, and the problem stopped occuring. But after about a few hours of play, it started happening again, and now it always happens. So... PLEASE help me out.:(
