The tide lied

Im swallowed back up the rivers wayward branches and sneezed into the turmoil of the bleeding waterfall.
Averted the clinical submission of my neighbours to the dogmatic farce, I managed
With the cloaked unsavvy puppet in his approachably modest throne.
A serpent around his mangled wrist and his frame made out of bone.
Stomping like a loved child, so worthy for his due and just reward
My sealed fist burst thought the trees, cascading madly forward
“What is this he bellowed?”, his teeth swinging in their blackened sockets
An untimely sudden burst of blue to ripen this unholy fool
My truth became a parasite, a subtle seducing note
Infecting my introspection, like a shovel to the throat
Elevated to obscenity before my view is cast away
A shift in the tides, the moon denies she ever had a say

(Correct me if its wrong of me to post poetry and the like in the art forum. Sorry if it is)

This really should go in Off Topic, but it's a good poem anyway.

A poem in a form is an art, so I guess in a way it's in the right section. :)

A glance, a strangers face, in Aunty Annies haze.
A meeting of unknowns, an attachment and a token.
A farewell, a longing, a fear of never belonging.
A touch, a haunting closeness,
Full and unspoken, choked by loves neuroses.

My thoughts for you flickered within limbo,
Waiting patient for a sign.
A declaration in a leap of faith,
I needed you as mine.

My insides expand and contract and collapse,
As your love knocks me to the ground,
Only for the fall to be cushioned by your embrace.
Ill be as close to you as eyelids shut,
Stripped to the soul as you accept in me what I cannot.
My heart capsized to the effect of a note,
My tongue left anchored, like a stranded boat.

Holding you in my ragged thoughts,
My memory recalls your scent,
In my helpless hopeless longing, lingering in the wind,
I conjured your warm face in the mist of my winter breath.
I’d search beneath the bleeding sky, until my own decent,
Despite my greatest efforts, I will fail in my attempts,
Describing how I feel for you, to its full and true extent.
