Can someone explain this please?

Hey everyone. I have a little problem with my PS3. I havent played on it in about three days. And before that I had beaten a few games. So, I hop on my PS3 today and check into my Saved Files, and all of my games are gone except one. So What the hell happend? :confused:

Someone has probably been on your PS3 and wiped your saves.

Have you done any recent firmware updates or messed with the configs?

Do you have the PS3 in your first language? Because maybe you deleted them using the PS3 with another language.

No, the only recent updates were the ones that came with the games I got. Most recent was Uncharted: Drakes Fortune if that helps?

It should be a glitch in the system since all were deleted except one, or a system restore was done somehow, is your music or pictures if you had any still there, Oh and was that last game saved recent?

in the meanwhile you can download saved games off gamefaq.com and i would suggest to backup your other game save in a usb flash drive if you happen to have one.

Edit: sorry if im not much help, I hardly mess with the ps3 for the reason that under my budget it was expensive so I don't try the exploits and mess with the configs. but i always keep my saves backed up just in case because it helps avoiding dilemmas like the one ur having.

Actually that was pretty helpful. My last game saved was Jak an Daxter before I realized it cuz my SOS has been on it. Do those random updates happen often? And it was a glitch? I figured a PS3 wouldn't have those. Anyway, thanks for the help Pibs.

Hmm i was just saying it might be a glitch because im hoping its fixable and ive had a problem with a firmware where my ps3 was a little laggy. If I were you i would contact tech support, if you happen to live in the US this is their info

ive had no probs with mine, usually wen u have 2 accounts then ovbiously the saves only work on 1 account
