Get Popsloader. (http://www.dark-alex.org/)

And then get 380 eboot and use PSARDumper (http://www.dark-alex.org) and get the prx files you'll need from using this program to put in your seplugins folder for popsloader.

You will then be able to run the game through 3.80 firmware. You can do this for firmwares all the way back to 3.00.

You need to use PSARDumper (http://www.dark-alex.org/) and extract all the .prx files from the 3.72 eboot file with this program.

Then put all of those in the popsloader folder (which is another thing you have to download from the same site) in the seplugins folder.

But which .prx files are needed to make it run, and do you have to add anything to the names like.. 372?

heres your answer

3.00-3.03: kd/popsman.prx, kd/meaudio.prx, kd/pops.prx, vsh/module/pafmini.prx

3.10-3.30: kd/popsman.prx, kd/pops.prx, vsh/module/pafmini.prx

3.40-3.72: kd/popsman.prx, kd/pops.prx, vsh/module/pafmini.prx, vsh/module/libpspvmc.prx

those are the prx's you use.

If you look in the right place you can get all the PRX's you are looking for.

I found this thread looking to fix this issue, 3.90 m33-3, the advice in this thread locked my psp...

downgraded to 380 m33-5 and no more worries.
FF9 works on 3.80 m33-5
