Does chankast support .img files?

I'm trying to get an .img file to work in Chankast, does it support .img files? If not, how do I make'em work?

I'm not aware of any selfboot apps that create homebrew .img files, there are plenty of tutorials for ceating homebrew .CDI and .NRG files, check out some of those.
