Hi, I recently got cfw 3.90m33 on my slim and lite.
But I'm not to sure how to whole thing works like the emulators ect..
Can someone please fill me in and tell me how to run homebrew games and iso games ect...
I'm really confused :S

Also if you can tell me how to get those XMB waves on my psp's background ;)

First question

if you've got the official firmware from sony installed

then this wont work

you'll need a pandoras battery to downgrade im afraid

which requires a homebrew capable psp in the first place

Yes, I've got custom firmware 3.90m33. I just don't know how to use all the extra features you get when you have custom firmware. To me so far its exactly the same xD As i said in my first post. The things i want to know are:
How to get iso games to work or the fake umd's?
How to work homebrew apps and games like psptube and tetris.
And how to get the custom xmb waves ect..

Yea, also a bit curious about those other emulators for ps1 and gba ect..
I have 3.90m33 on my slim and lite, please tell me what i can do!!! xD

First of all, AdamRay. Installing Custom Firmware on slim does not entail downgrading, its replacing the firmware with other stuff.

sannctus671: We don't support ISO talk here at all, you cant ask us those questions. Technically if I was a moderator i'd lock this thread and not help you but netherless, most emulators are 1.50 only. Many work on the slim quite well, its a matter of finding the right one

Though Wally's right about the ISO's, don't let him bring you down.

It's still perfectly allowed to talk about emulators, and there are many people who are willing to help you out.

On the slim, it's very easy to install some kick ass emulators that you very well may be drooling about.

Here are some pointers.

Quick Jump Downloads (http://dl.qj.net/PSP/catid/106). Here is your heaven and you will be required to worship this site every Wednesday.

It has a crap load of awesome downloads listing all the way back to when the homebrew scene got started. Most emulators downloaded here need to be placed in your "psp\game150" folder on your memory stick. When you turn your psp back on, there will be these neat programs under the game tab.

Just try it out, and you'll get used to this whole thing, and hopefully you'll be kicking ass on many of the awesome emulators out there.

Some off the tip of the iceberg are

gpSP - Gameboy Advance
RIN - Gameboy and Gamboy Color
NesterJ - Nes
SNES9xTYL ME - Snes
DGEN - Genesis

All of these can be found on QJ, just search for them.

Awesome. Well thats helpful. I got a few emulators working.
But can you give me a place to download the roms or is that not allowed?

No that's not allowed. A certain popular search engine might be helpful. I'm glad you got some to work!

Yas! I figured out how to get those xmb waves installed xD

I'm enjoying the Atari 5200 emu :D
But im having problems with some games because they require you to press start?
But you can't....I'm not sure

Also How can I get homebrew games to work on my slim?

You need to put most homebrew apps in "PSP\GAME150" folder. Then again, that's not necessary for all apps.
