Umd Not Working After downgrade, pls help

Well I just downgraded to firmware 1.50 from 2.71 and I've been able to get everything working with no problem, but the only game I have (Crash team racing) wont run. I used pspset (v .09) to show I have firmware 2.00 and it works (I'm guessing) since clicking on the "PSP update ver 2.00" says I currently have it and my system settings says I have it but the game won't even load; it just goes to a black screen and goes back to Home. It worked before the downgrade and the psp + game are my cousins so I need to get this to work. Any help would be much appreciated.

I'd reccomend probably switching to custom firmware, such as 3.40 OE or 3.52 M33, There's a couple of guides over here, basically custom firmware is new firmware with the features of 1.5
