help with down gradeing

hiya new to this but here we go i have just brought a psp and my mate has told me that i can donegrade so i can put games onto it but i dont know if i can with my version of software i have version 2.82 can anyone let me know if and how i can down grade it cheers.

Get your mate to downgrade it with a Pandora battery / magic memory stick.

If you have the original version of GTA: Liberty City Stories, you can downgrade without the use of a Pandora. That's the other alternative.
