Hello,

I have a GBA SP with an XROM 512.
I also have a DS and plan to buy an R4/M3.

I was wondering if I still need a GBA Pack, or can my XROM be used just as a GBA pack with a R4 (EZFlash V 3in1) or a M3 (GBA pack from M3 Real)??

By that I mean transfering on the fly games from the slot 1 to the cart in slot 2, and not having to use the original software that came with my XROM (Linker + Littlewriter) cause the linker can only be plugged in a GBA...

Thanks for an answer!

The only program that lets you flash old GBA flash carts from a slot-1 device only supports the Flash Advance cards, not X-rom. You'll still need a GBA and the linker cable to flash it. However, obviously you can still use the X-rom in your DS to play GBA titles you've already flashed to it.

thank you very much for the precise information.

Unfortunately I plan to sell my SP to fund my R4/M3 :( I guess I'll have to sell the XROM too now.
