I was lookin to getting an xbox mod chip, and i was just wondering how you guys rated the x-bit chip, it looks simple to install, and relatively inexpensive, but I was jus wondering is there any bad points about this chip?

Also could I flash it with X-biosis?

Yes you can.(I'm not sure about a proper bios however..I'll check it out)

I use Xecuter, and Xenium. I've never had a problem.(Even on a 1.6)
Good luck bro.

somewhat off topic:
I could be wrong.. but i think that there were two versions of the 1.6- 1.6a that wasnt much differant from the 1.5 and 1.6b that covered the solderring places with thick plastic.. anyways, the best way to tell is probably just to open up your box and be sure you can see the usual soldering holes.

well.. i dont know about a plain "xenium" but..

Xenium Ice seems to work on 1.6
Spice seems to work on 1.6b (its bot a better system of poking the plastic i guess)
