hello

i'm planning to buy an 8gb pro duo stick for my phat psp. I've noticed that there are some on ebay at 1/5 of their normal prize. I've also noticed some negative comments. Anyway, how will I know that the Mem stick i'll buy is genuine by just looking at the box ?

I wouldn't like to pay the normal price and get the fake one

hope that helps a bit :D

Check for a hologram for authenticity.

Also even though the pic on ebay shows the hologram there is no saying the one you recieve will be the same as the picture, However most cards on ebay are fake but they do work read/write speeds are slower and probably wont last as long but for the price its a choice you need to make.

how about amazon.com?
4 GB MS (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000GBO9IM/ref=pd_cp_e_1?pf_rd_p=250314601&pf_rd_s=center-41&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000IGGCCG&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1QVDS9M1EBYMNCWFS5S9) would the memory sticks on there be trustworthy?

Amazon was where I purchased both of my pro duo cards, never had a problem. I don't trust ebay.

Just make sure you buy off a person/company with a good rating, read the negative ratings and decide from there ;)

i got 2 of my 1 gb cards from ebay
and they work fine
but one of them has a crack in the outer shell bit
but i try to make sure i'm buying from positive feedback ppl

and cool i just found that 4 gb one for half the price of one at my local "radio shack" which is now "the source by circuit city"

75-100 dollars for a 4gb
vs
47 on amazon

i'll go with < 50
