No skype on 3.900 M33-2

I upgraded my slim PSP to 3.90 M33-2 but it doesn't seem to be showing skype under network. Has anyone else had this problem? If not doesn anyone know how I can fix it? (BTW, It's an import Japanese slim)

Is Skype available in Japan? Do you have recovery menu installed on your system? If so then enter recovery mode and change the region to North America.

how do you get the gomessenger client ive been wanting it any ideas?
