Just as the title says, I am confused on what to do after degrading my PSP from 2.7 to 1.5.
While I was looking for guides on how to do this, I found versions that I am not familiar with, like the custom filmware 3.90 M33 etc.. I was wondering, am I suppose to update to a different version after I get to 1.5 if I want more add-ons, performance, etc..? If so, could someone explain to me step by step?

EDIT: also, how do i get the internet with 1.5?

you dont have to upgrade if you dont feel like it but its mostly better to do it because those firmwares you see like 3.90m33 get you more addons

you can play old games via emulators, add hombrew, play psp games through the memory card, you can play PS1 games, and other cool stuff.

but be sure to install the 1.50 kernel after updating it gives you the ability to use hombrew that requires the 1.50 kernel

Yes, that's the whole point. You're downgrading back down to 1.5 so you can install a custom firmware (Dark_Alex's M33 firmwares) which will give you all the benefits of the official firmware whilst allowing you to run homebrew. If you're on 1.5 right now, download M33's 3.52 (http://www.dark-alex.org/), and it should include a readme with step-by-step instructions on how to install it inside. Once you've got to 3.52, download and install the 4th patch. (http://exophase.com/files/psp/M33-1234.zip) You can either leave it there, as I have, or upgrade to the newer versions. Choice is yours.
