Idea for a New Doom Mod

Got an idea for a new doom mod that 1) may bring a lot of attention the the scene and 2) be kinda fun

Ive often wondered if instead of using guns you can use wands and lets have say an Harry potter type doom mod with original graphics etc

different button combos do different spells and instead of aliens you could have stuff from the harry potter universe

thoughts ?

Would be difficult and time consuming. Especially with the combo's and stuff.

DOOM doesn't have Aliens, it has Demons! Like from Hell. DOOM3 on the other hand looks like aliens.

well actually if you want to be technical, the demons are aliens.
they dont come from earth and anything not from earth is considered alien.

but anyway, id like to make my own doom mod also,
i found some good tools here if anyone wants to give it a shot at making theyre own wad.
