Can the Dreamcast play Sega CD Games? if not natively what about through an emulator?

No, there are not Sega CD emulators for Dreamcast.

Sega Consoles never were Backwards Compatable. (Native Play) :( But if you can find KEGA and Genesis DC Plus Code then merge the 2 together (KEGA Has SEGA CD BIOS and Loading info as well as GPU Update (it does that super mario kart thing now *SONIC CD Bonus) and Genesis DC Plus should have the everything else

That's incorrect. The Genesis and GameGear have backward compatibility with the Master System, despite you need an adapter.

Saturn also has the Mega Drive's M68k CPU built in, and Dreamcast uses a CPU that's somewhat compatible to the Saturn (SH2 - > SH4). None of that ever made it into something like backward compatibility though.


dcdood: KEGA is a closed source project, so it's impossible to merge the code with that of GPDC.
