I like Half-Life TC for Doom2, sooo kicks ass.

Sadly, without free aim or jumping, it's getting boring fast...

But Quake is ported to PSP, so mods for it work, and it has jumping and free aim...

So is anyone working on a Half-Life mod for Quake 1?

no. But dark heart is working on a half life mod for Quake 2. He says it's pretty much done and he's going to wait until McZonk releases a stable Quake 2 port before he releases it on the PSP. here is a quote from his post:

i recovered it XD i didn't really pay much attention to this thread but halobro sent me the link, ok so i've recovered most of it, but i'm just going to wait till McZonk releases a stable quake 2 psp, because my coder has little experience with porting games to psp.
if i can get the source code to the working version of quake 2 psp i'll get right on it, because i want to know that all my hard work is not in vain but until then i'll just be going around helping people with they're projects. you know, jordansg57 is making a ZELDA deathmatch, google him and his project, i made him a tree :D.

i also just want to remind everyone that half-life psp will only be a death match, i haven't planned a full game, one because it would involve some sort of system where you'd have to own one, rada, rada, you get the drill, it wouldn't just be the original files, but making a deathmatch would be a lot safer.

there were some screenshots on his website and they looked awesome, but for some reason his website is down right now.

i can't believe people are still waiting for that XD when and if mczonk releases that code, and only then will i even consider it. but HELL i didn't realize people were still wanting it! makes me wanna make it :)
I'll tell you what, if he releases it ill have a go, but if it's like half-way through 2009 and it's still incomplete, you may find that i have moved on to new things.
i will be getting that new pandora, so i will probably be just focusing on linux/pc based mods.

the reason my site is down, is simply because i didn't believe it was going to happen because i've lost faith in mczonk ever releasing any kind of update any time soon. If for some reason he does and i decide to continue cloning half-life, i may just upload another site.

PLEASE don't take this as a definite yes, don't jump to conclusions either, it's more of a maybe then a yes, but it's good to know that it would be appreciated if i did it.

also i know this is an old thread, but i missed the opportunity to correct it, the time it was posted.

Well here are some interesting experiments with hl.bsp & Quake ports:
http://www.quakeone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3997&

http://forums.inside3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=1232&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

And videos:
http://www.quakeone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4008&

Yeah modern Q1 ports such as FitzQuake support hl.bsp & hl.mdl

So if anyoune wants to play hl on psp:
-take Kurok-PSP (upgraded Quake-PSP) souces here: http://bladebattles.com/kurok/SVN/
-and FitzKurok src: http://bladebattles.com/kurok/files/FitzKurokSourcev0.4.rar
-try to replace files bspfile.h, model.c, model.h and modelgen.h in Kurok-PSP with these files from Fitz src and compile Kurok.
-try to run Hl maps (DM) and models on PSP. If it works, you'll maybe alo have to decompile and play around with maps and with scripts to run singleplayer correctly. And with game logic (progs.dat).
