Information from official site (http://xeon.pytalhost.net/blog/):

Xeon is a project to create a PS2 emulator with best compatibility and performance.

The official start was the 05.02.2008. We work in a 5-man team where everybody has his own thing to do:

* Xeon - Main/CPU coding (emulator is based on his idea :P)
* Quid - Graphics (render acceleration)
* Port7 - Plugins and device emulation (such as DVD)
* lateit - Sound (Central Sound System)
* rSys - Input-Output processing

The latest build is the ‘0.2a’ and an early beta ;). We don’t want to use others code (such as foreign video-plugins), so it takes a while to develop. The release date is unknown, cause we don’t want to release an unfinished emulator (there are enough of them).

So visit our site to get new (we code every day) informations about development.

For those of you, who can’t wait to see the emulator, i took a screenshot for you.

Here we go:

Our own video plugin is in phase 2/10. You can see the beautiful output (with ~16 FPS!) while rendering the PS2 BIOS.

Thanx to Quid and Port7 for a good job. The dev time for this plugin was nearly one month.
