Actual Release Date of GTA. . .?

I have heard from numerous places of the release date whether it be Wal Mart, Gamestop.com, GameFAQS, Toys r us, etc. etc.

WHAT IS THE REAL RELEASE DATE!!!?

I've heard the 1st of september sometime in october and i think even a november date (I don't believe that. . .) and one of my magazines Gameinformer said something else.

I have this game on reserve so i'd like to know when to gathr my 50 bucks together and get my butt out and get it. . .

I'd assume they(where you pre-ordered it) would call you when it comes in. I'd expect a mid to late ocotober release. There are many different release dates on different sites so its hard to tell.
