Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me out here.

I have a Japanese Wii and a Japanese copy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I have only just got these and am still new with understanding how to connect to the internet. I am in the UK and have broadband. Despite owning a Japanese Wii, is it still possible for me to use a wireless router and connect to the internet?

The Wii runs fine with a transformer, so there's no problem with any gameplay, but I'm not sure if it being a Japanese Wii will affect the Internet connection from here.

I don't want to purchase a router if this isn't possible, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

A Japanese Wii would probably connect to the internet. Im sure that the text would be Japanese but you could still go head to head with others..

So the fact that it's a Japanese console trying to connect to a UK internet shouldn't really affect it? Yup, the text is all in Japanese but I'm fine with that, it's whether or not it works online that's stumped me.

Thanks for your help :D
